The HAY Pinocchio Rug is made from 100% felted woolen balls, these balls are made by rolling the wool in the hands of Nepalese craftspeople. This process gives a depth to the rug due to the variation in the tones of the coloured wool, whilst being super soft and tactile and the balls are strung on a cord and down into the circular shape. The name of the rug is from the traditional Danish candy - Pinocchio - which are tasty sugar coated liquorice balls.
